Enthusiasm is the essential ingredient of our success.
In this article I'll let 10 unconventional methods to get your fill of energy and once again become enthusiastic about the study, work and life.
"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm."
Been to l 'etymology of the word enthusiasm?
Enthusiasm comes dall'accoppiata of Greek words: en (in) and Theos (god).
Being enthusiastic literally means: having a god within himself.
When we are excited about our lives, we enter it in a state of grace that infects everything and everyone: there is no obstacle or person who can resist us.
Even the most ambitious goals become achievable, the difficulties instead of us down there and galvanize energy deep and warm pervades every cell of our body.
But to find the enthusiasm is not always easy.
In this fast-paced society we feel day by day increasingly competing (stress), in awe (fear), confusion (confusion), and to calm our nerves, we take refuge in distraction.
How can we go back to being excited in the workplace, university, in our private lives?
How can we return to hear the clatter God within us?
Here are 10 practical tips and unorthodox to rekindle the fire of enthusiasm.
When you do not feel excited: pretend!
The Americans would say: fake it, 'till you make it (pretend, as long as you do not succeed).
There is a deep connection and two-way between our moods and our physiology.
As demonstrated by the social psychologist Amy Cuddy, of Harvard University, there are specific postures that can change our testosterone and cortisol levels.
In other words, if we change our body posture can change the way we feel.
Well, maybe the dress is not the Monaco, but definitely yes demeanor.
Ok Andre ', but how to find the enthusiasm acting on my physiology?
There are specific indicators of enthusiasm, or typical ways of behaving of people imbued with enthusiasm.
Our voice is rapid, varied, has a high tone, and is characterized by sudden changes in tone and rhythm.
Our eyes are open, bright, almost they seem to glow and dance.
Our gestures are frequent, large and involve different parts of our body.
Our face briefly changes to an expression to another.
Replication these attitudes, fingili tone when you feel down and see what happens ...
"Before you find your passion, put passion into everything you do."
It circulates between young and old this unhealthy idea that the secret to having an unlimited supply of motivation and enthusiasm is to find the purpose of their lives.
Mind you, not that you should not look for it or have it (we'll talk in the next point), but it is not written anywhere that you can not live with enthusiasm until you are struck by lightning on the way to Damascus from your life mission!
Indeed, the opposite is true.
If you learn to put enthusiasm, passion and dedication in everything, even in small things and ordinary activities, chances are you can find your purpose in life, even if you never would have tried.
Try it today: instead of tackling your next task with impatience and superficiality, do it with an attitude of genuine curiosity, as if I did it for the first time, do it with the utmost concentration, do it with the same love that a craftsman puts into his work.
Have you ever heard of the "vision board"?
As mentioned, it is not necessary to have found their purpose to live with enthusiasm; yet have a direction to work towards a vision of what we want maximum, may be the key to rekindle the enthusiasm in our lives.
In these cases a vision board can be extremely useful.
A vision board (or dream board) is nothing but a collection of images and words that represent what you want ...
As soon as I have the chance, cut an hour all to yourself and begin to search within magazines or online sites, images, quotes and words that inspire you deeply and which depict the goals you want to reach, the emotions that you want to try, mentors who want to emulate the person who you want to become.
Print and cut out these figures and then creates a collage to hang on to a place to watch just wake up every morning and every night before going to sleep.
A vision board can be a very powerful tool and can help us bring our daily focus on what we really want in our lives.
There is no week that does not receive a message or a comment that goes something like this:
"Everything nice and interesting to you talk about effective, but the problem is that I do not own objectives!
I do not know what I want to do in life, and so I find myself all day to scratch my uallera ".
Ok, the passage on "uallera" I invented, but the rest is pretty damn true and it is a situation that unfortunately affects many readers (too many).
If you are one of those, read the next words carefully.
If you do not have a vision for your life, give yourself a goal: any goal.
Find her and committed to achieve your goal.
Make a promise to yourself and respect for a time long enough to achieve real change, it is one of those superpowers that will not only give back enthusiasm, but will allow you to accomplish the unimaginable.
Start small, perhaps by goals that you can accomplish within a maximum of one or two weeks.
When you've got the right pace, aiming higher and accepts a # sfida90901 ;-)
The term "functionally illiterate" has now entered the common parlance and is used (and often abused) on social.
In case you did not know, the functionally illiterate is one who is able to read, but it is not able to fully understand the meaning of what he reads.
Here, my 5th unorthodox suggestion to go back to being enthusiastic about your life is to become an illiterate ... "informational" or a person who is able to learn about the latest news of the day, but it does not!
Before scandalized, grant me another two lines of text.
"It makes a lot more noise a falling tree of an entire forest growing."
TG, newspapers and online news sites, do not provide an objective representation of reality: these media do nothing but bring back 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, "falling trees", or the news that make noise and these reports are often dramatic news (murders, economic crises, acts of violence, theft, etc.).
Food constantly our mind with this information does not make us better prepared, only makes us more afraid, unmotivated and frustrated.
An effective strategy to regain enthusiasm and optimism is therefore to make a healthy "media diet."
Dieting does not mean zero any media source of information.
Having a healthy media diet means getting rid of the information fast-food (news) and enrich your mind with in-depth information (books, essays, documentaries, etc.).
To paraphrase a famous quote by Emerson could say that ...
"Every minute you spend complaining, you lose sixty seconds of happiness."
It is physically impossible to complain and be excited simultaneously.
Or choose your whining, concentrating on everything that's wrong in your life.
Or choose to be enthusiastic, By focusing on that which already work or would work great with a little 'commitment.
Ah, you do not really ever you complain?
For years around with a very particular note in my portfolio.
It is a little post-it folded in two and now a little 'crumpled.
Inside I wrote three quotes that I love most in hand.
Whenever I feel down in the dumps and devoid of passion, I open the paper and I read those three sentences: this simple gesture can do wonders.
I do not share with you my sentences, not conditioning you.
Choose phrases that speak to your heart and your mind.
If it can help you, in these articles I picked it different:
Oh, really they do not need to force soundproof headphones, but if you travel a lot on public transport (trains, metro, bus, etc.), could make a difference.
One of the easiest and effective ways ever to change our state of mind and regain the enthusiasm is actually to use the music.
The right song and the right playlist are able to give us the energy in a few seconds.
The musical rhythm acts on our most primal instincts, but because our hard motivation, we need to be able to feed our intellect.
So take your soundproof headphones and use them also to listen to podcasts and audiobooks that will inspire.
I am now 10 years that every morning when they wake up, I put on my headphones and turn on my brain with my favorite podcasts and audio books of authors I love.
This year I also had the honor to record my first audio book in collaboration with Amazon (two have already left and others will come soon).
To read the reviews, listeners are ... excited!
Who knows that it is not the right time to be able to convey this good habit ;-)
There are occasions when demonstrating enthusiasm is essential for achieving a goal.
In these cases you can use this simple trick to try your enthusiasm: be specific.
During the interview certainly it will come the time when you will ask "Why would like to work here?
The worst answer you can give is of course a terrible "Well, I do not know"; but also a simple "I love what I do here" does not work very well.
If you want to show you excited about the position, think to something specific that you like the company or the position.
This trick works not only in job interviews, but also when we are together with others.
Think about it: do you prefer to be in the company of people getting weak and negative or people full of enthusiasm and desire to live?
If you want to be one of these people, when you relate to others: s ii specific in making compliments, be specific in giving advice, be specific in asking questions.
And this brings us to tip number 10 ...
We average five people we meet.
"We average five people we meet."
Apply visas tips so far will serve little if you frequent every day people who drain your energy, lower self-esteem and you ... will shatter the Maronites (quanno ce vo ', ce vo'!
