VICE: How can you learn to lucid dreams?
Jared Zeizel: First you need to start writing your dreams every morning. After a while 'you will begin to notice recurring structures. For example, maybe you dream often watches. In this case, every time you run into a clock in real life, take a moment and ask yourself, "Am I dreaming?" It is a reality test, and practicing it will begin to train your mind. Eventually it will come to you the same question even in the dream, and you will reach so lucidity.

Once you are lucid, what you enjoy doing in my dream?
Sometimes I like to evoke my alter-ego evil, and talk to him. I like to fly. And sex is always nice. Often developing the plot of the dream in which I find myself, as if it were a kind of video game. And sometimes I go to the orchard research in which they grow more fruitful than anything I've ever eaten in my real life.

And the guides, who are they?
The guides are characters that represent part of my character.
Lately it often appears a giant bear. It is quite old and has a gray coat with a purplish tinge. It usually appears in the middle of chaos. I see the bear, I follow him and he takes me to a quieter place.

Is there something you've never done in a lucid dream and you would like to try?
Thomas Peisel, the other author of the book, always turns into an animal, such as a jaguar or a wolf. Can perceive the transformation until it realizes to move on all fours. It is also transformed into birds. Here, I would like to try such an experience.
