JExport is a component for Joomla that allows you to export the pages of the site in html.
The export can be very long for large sites also must have privileges to create symlink, and change the maxnestinglevel and maxexecutiontime.
Jexport can become very handy on those sites that do not have php installed, or the version is very old, or when the site is a landing page or page display so that does not need frequent updates and users can not change its contents.
In these cases you can keep joomla locally (in order to have all privileges to change maxnestinglevel, maxexecutiontime etc ..) to export to all the html pages and upload them to the remote server.
Obviously the html pages are not enough, so load all of the root folders as images, media, templates etc ...
