In Italy, but I think all over the world now that feng shui is popular, some people think that sleeping with the head facing south can be bad for your health.

Quiet, there is no reliable evidence proving the influence of the earth's magnetic field on the psychological well-being resulting from a particular position taken during sleep.

The idea that the Earth's magnetic field may have the influence on the physical conditions of man arises from ecological design, who argue that the choice of the arrangement of furniture in the house can benefit health, which takes account of the "network of Hartmann" , allegedly responsible for various forms of "geopatologie". The network of Hartmann consist of a grid of lines of force, by someone voted magnetic, present on the Earth. These lines of force would have a pathogenic effect, and the areas most at risk would be the nodes of this grid (Hartmann nodes). The curious thing (and that says a lot about the seriousness of this theory) is that the lines of force and the nodes can not be detected by any instrument, but only by psychics and dowsers.

It would be interesting to conduct tests on psychics and dowsers, aimed at verifying their possible ability to distinguish nodes, previously identified by themselves, obviously without their knowledge. Of course no one has accepted this challenge: someone were justified by saying that the network of Hartmann moves! So, what is the point to study carefully the arrangement of the bed or place protective equipment?
